Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar style as The Cinema Snob, but she's more prone to obsessively watching dumb action films. She began reviewing movies in late 2009 after becoming well-known in their forum. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. She was on the website until the beginning of 2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts are about the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Guest-starring on Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. It reviews horrendous film that is aimed at kids, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult-oriented comedy. In late 2009 she began reviewing films, which gained her acclaim on the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the family of network movie critics. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
